Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board and Academy Professor. W.Lee Cowden is a USA board-certified cardiologist and internist who is internationally known for his knowledge and skill in practicing and teaching integrative medicine. He has co-authored many books and articles on integrative medicine and has pioneered successful treatments of cancer, autism, Lyme disease and many other illnesses.

Bill Gonseaux offers over 20 years of business executive leadership in a number of industries. Effectively leads corporate teams while advancing multimillion-dollar revenue streams. Well-versed in technology and readily synchronizes business development, operational efficiency, sales targets, and technology goals. Excellent communicator who leads large-scale projects and interfaces effectively with demanding executives.

The Academy Scientific Advisory Board

The Academy has endeavored to attract health professionals who have demonstrated outstanding dedication in bringing the very best treatment to their own clients and who have a deep commitment to sharing what they have learned with others. The Scientific Advisory Board is charged with leading The Academy in every phase of education and research including The Academy member selection, mentoring of other health professionals, and in all things scientific. The Advisory Board members’ geographical and professional diversity ensures that the Board will have the diversity of thought required to lead the Academy to become the leader in advancing integrative medicine internationally. Health and wellness should know no boundaries, whether it be physical or philosophical. Knowledge should not be contained or restrained by physical boundaries, corporate greed, government interference, or ignorance. The Advisory Board members have a demonstrated record of moving the boundaries. Through their leadership, The Academy will bring together people of divergent backgrounds and divergent practices to form a powerful force advocating the best of integrative medicine throughout the world.

W. Lee Cowden, MD, MD(H)

Member of the Scientific Advisory Board and Academy Professor. Hugh Thomson is a Canadian-trained dentist who has been practicing biological dentistry in Canada for 30 years, with special interests in orthodontics, oral orthopedics, acupuncture, treatment of cavitational osteonecrosis, treatment of T.M.J. dysfunction, and evaluating dentistry’s impact on human health.

Member of the Scientific Advisory Board and Academy Professor. Dietrich Klinghardt is one of the world’s leaders in the practice and teaching of integrative medicine. Formally trained in Germany and well-known for his successful treatment of chronic pain and chronic illness, his accomplishments include development of Autonomic Response Testing which has transformed many practices worldwide into healing centers.

Member of the Scientific Advisory Board and Academy Professor. Dan Clark graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and was in private practice from 1979 to1985 in preventive medicine and environmental diseases. Then he formed BioActive Nutritional, Inc.,developed more than 400 nutritional products, became a staff instructor at the I. W. Lane College of Integrative Medicine and sponsored 12 annual International Congresses of BioEnergetic Medicine.

Joe Mercola is a USA-trained physician who is the founder-owner of, and primary driving force behind, the largest alternative medicine internet site in the world, www.mercola.com. He is the author of many articles in many peer-reviewed medical journals which expose the myths about common health practices and he “walks the talk” when it comes to healthy living.

Leigh Erin Connealy got her medical degree at the University of Chicago, did post-doctoral gynecology training at UCLA Harbor Medical Center and has been in general practice for more than 20 years seeing men and women. She runs a large multi-practitioner clinic in Irvine, California and has a weekly radio talk show teaching integrative and preventive medicine.

Fred Kuipers has practiced bio-energetic and bio-regulative medicine in Holland for nearly 20 years and is well-known in Europe for his success in treating diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, depression, Lyme disease, complicated skin conditions and many other chronic illnesses.

Member of the Scientific Advisory Board and Academy Professor. Gilbert Renaud has over 20 years of experience as a professional in the field of holistic health. Having been trained in Total Biology by Dr.Claude Sabbah of France, he now has a practice in Vancouver, BC, Canada and teaches courses in North America and Europe on Recall Healing, which is a synthesis of Total Biology and related works with his own experience.
